Greenville, SC -- Mid-America Christian University senior forward Kelsie Dutton and junior guard Triana Wilridge have been recognized as National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar Athlete award winners, the organization released yesterday (Mar. 27). 

To qualify for this award, the student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.4 grade-point average, be at least a junior in academic standing and have completed at least one semester at the nominating institution. 

Dutton has maintained a 3.97 GPA with a major in Business Administration/English, while Wilridge has a 3.9 GPA in Business Administration. 

The duo helped the Lady Evangels enjoy a historic season under first-year head coach Marcus Moeller.  MACU won its most conference games (11) since joining the NAIA and the 18 victories overall are also the most as an NAIA school.
