OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Evangels fell to the Missouri Valley College Vikings in a twinbill today (Feb. 13) by scores of 14-3 and 13-4 at James Curtis Field.

The Vikings (2-2) got a pair of two-run blasts and four RBI each from Josh Felz and Lucas Doerhoff in the opener that helped to bust the game open 10-0.

A.J. Wilson hit an RBI double to get the Evangels on the board in the third and then drew and RBI walk in the fourth.

Chevin Noone singled home Wilson in the nightcap to put the Evangels on top in 1-0 in the bottom of the second, but the Vikings plated two runs in the third and then seven more in the fourth to take command.

After the Vikings scored five more times in the fifth, Brandon Bordonaro drew a bases-loaded walk that scored Daniel Thompson in the bottom of the frame that finished the scoring.

The Vikings received two RBI each from Felz, Doerhoff, Jacob Stafford, Trevor Duffy and Zac Blakemore that powered their offensive attack in the second game.

The Evangels and Vikings are set for another doubleheader tomorrow (Feb. 14) at noon to finish out the four-game series.
