KANSAS CITY – Mid-America Christian University senior Laramie Ball and juniors D'Shala Culberson and Larissa Runyan have received the NAIA Scholar Athlete award, the organization recently announced.

To be eligible for this award, the student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.5 grade-point average and be at least a junior in academic standing.

Ball has a 3.94 GPA in Early Childhood Education, while Culberson is maintaining a 3.57 GPA in Business Administration.

Runyan, who also received this honor as a volleyball student-athlete, has a 4.0 GPA as an English major.
