OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University men's golf head coach Allen Dukes has added Tyler Price into the fold for the 2016-17 season.

Price comes to MACU from Seminole State College, where he is set to join fellow Seminole transfers Nathan Chadd and Wilson Prada.

"We are excited about signing Tyler," Dukes said.  "He came from our recruiting pipeline at Seminole State. He is the fourth golfer we have signed from SSC and every one of them are excellent golfers, but more importantly are great kids."

A native of Harrah, Okla., Price helped Seminole State to an appearance in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) men's golf national championship tournament in 2015.

Price prepped at Harrah high school and earned All-State honors.

"Tyler was an excellent golfer and basketball player at Harrah high school before attending SSC," Dukes said. "We think he will be a perfect fit for MACU."

He is the son of Justin Price and Angie Jennings and plans to major in Finance/Accounting at MACU.
