OKLAHOMA CITY – We are excited to announce that for all remaining basketball home games, Mid-America Christian University students will have a chance to shoot from halfcourt to earn at least $100.

"We were honored to have a donor step up and help us create another great incentive for our students at MACU to come out and support our basketball teams," MACU Athletic Director Marcus Moeller said.

"It should be a lot of fun to follow and see if a student can earn a big cash payout!"

How it will work: Students will receive a ticket in between the first and second quarter of the women's game, with the winning ticket being drawn between the third and fourth quarter of the women's game.

The tickets will be available in Pop's Place at the second window and students must show their ID to receive one.

The recipient of the winning ticket will then attempt a halfcourt shot during halftime of the men's game.

The prize will start at $100 and each time the shot is missed, it will increase by $100 each game.

If the shot is made, it will then reset to $100 for the next game.

The first opportunity to participate in this contest will be tomorrow night (Jan. 12), when the Evangels host a Sooner Athletic Conference doubleheader against Wayland Baptist, beginning with the women's game at 6 pm inside the Gaulke Activity Center.

Hope to see everyone there and good luck!
