OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University senior guard Olajuwon Garner has been named a first-team All-OklahomaSports.Net performer, announced today (Mar. 7).

Garner leads the Evangels in scoring this season with 14.8 points per game.

He has consistently been one of the nation's top three-point shooters this season, ranking second in the Sooner Athletic Conference in three-point percentage (.453), which would rank first all-time in a single-season in school history for the Evangels.  Garner has also hit 105 treys overall this year, the most in a single-season as an NAIA school and only two shy of tying the overall single-season mark.

A native of Pittsburg, Calif, Garner is second in the SAC and third in the NAIA in threes per game (3.38).

Garner and the Evangels are set to compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Central Regional Tournament, set to begin Thursday (Mar. 9) at Central Christian College in McPherson, Kan.
