Greenville, SC – Mid-America Christian University freshman pitcher Seth Keith has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Pitcher of the Week, the organization released today (May 9).

In his first career start, Keith helped pitch the Evangels to a 19-7 victory over the St. Gregory's University Cavaliers in a Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament outing last Friday (May 5).

Keith struck out one and was charged with six runs in his career-high 6 1/3 innings on the mound, but allowed the Evangels to build a big cushion by limiting the Cavaliers to only one run through the first five frames.

The Tulsa, Okla. native tied for the team-lead with three wins overall this season, posting a solid 27-10 K/BB ratio.
