OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian baseball and softball teams invite the community to come out for their Halloween-themed slow-pitch softball game at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 at James Curtis Field.
Members of the two teams will be playing in Halloween costumes and will be holding a canned food drive during the event.
"It's a great way for us to help the community," said MACU Softball Head Coach Robert Wakefield. "We want to do everything we can to help the less fortunate and we believe this will be a fun event that will not only show the personalities of our teams, but also drive support help out those in need in our community."
The game is being organized by the senior members of the MACU softball team and encourage all attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to the event.
