LANGSTON, Okla. – The Mid-America Christian softball team got its bats going in a suspended doubleheader sweep over Langston as the Evangels picked up a 9-6 win over the Lions on Thursday before finishing game two with a 16-3 victory on Sunday.

• Mid-America Christian pushed across its 16 runs on 16 hits while Langston scored its three runs on three hits with an error.
• The 16 runs and 13 run margin of victory against Langston were both the most the Evangels had recorded against the Lions in program history.
• The 16 runs the Evangels scored were the most MACU had notched against a Sooner Athletic Conference opponent since pushing across 20 in a 20-1 victory over Central Christian on Feb. 18, 2017.
• Janessa Larman led the MACU bats once again, swatting 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, four RBIs and a run scored.
• Freshman outfielder Brooklyn Wilson recorded her first career three-hit game, batting 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored. Olivia Roberts also finished with three hits after going 3-for-4 with an RBI.
• Rachel Eggleston picked up her second straight win in the doubleheader, tossing a complete game by allowing three earned runs on three hits with a walk and struck out a career-high eight batters over five innings.
• By getting the win, Mid-America Christian swept the season series against the Lions.
