- Team Notes:
- Mid-America Christian suffered its first lost series (three or more games) of the season at Science & Arts this past weekend. The Evangels bounced back from a 7-1 defeat in the first game of the series with a 9-5 victory in the opening game of Saturday's doubleheader. While the Evangels got some stellar pitching and defense in the series finale, MACU struggled to get the bats going as MACU was shut out for just the second time in a 1-0 loss.
- The Evangels bats struggled to get going in the series against the Drovers as MACU was held to a .171 team batting average, slashing 14-for-82 in the three-game slate while notching just four extra-base hits in two doubles and two home runs.
- Even though MACU as a team struggled to swat, sophomore outfielder Noel McGarry-Doyle put together another fine series from the dish, going 3-for-9 (.333) with a homer, two RBIs and three runs scored while also registering a .455 on-base percentage off of a walk and hit-by-pitch.
- Despite a tough start for Ryan Harney in the opening game in the series, MACU got two encouraging starts from junior pitchers Isaac Baez and Cameron Brown in the Saturday doubleheader. Baez earned his fourth win of the season after allowing just two earned runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts over five innings of work and even though he was credited with the loss, Cameron Brown allowed just one earned run on six hits with three walks and three strikeouts over 5.1 innings in the 1-0 defeat.

- Team Notes:
- In a battle of two teams tied for the 22nd ranking in the NAIA, Indiana Tech dropped two of three games in a series at Oklahoma City over the weekend, falling 2-1 and 10-2 in the Saturday doubleheader before closing out the slate with a 7-1 win over the Stars on Sunday.
- The Warriors are a strong batting team, slashing the ninth-highest batting average in the NAIA at .342 while also posting the sixth-best slugging percentage in the nation at .589. However, Indiana Tech has struggled somewhat in its pitching, ranking just 81st in the NAIA in team ERA at 5.47.
- Over the course of the season, Tyler Stahl and Jacob Daftari has been stalwarts in the Warriors lineup, combining for 28 RBIs and 24 runs while Christian Mojica is posting a team-high .455 batting average to go with a team-leading on-base percentage (.536) and slugging percentage (.536).
- With Zach Zoborowski, Ryan Roxel and Coley Stevens throwing in the series against OCU, a likely starter the Evangels could end up facing is sophomore righty Luke Myers, who has appeared in two games and made one start. In his start against St. Ambrose (Iowa), Myers got the win after allowing just two earned runs in five innings of work.
- Mid-America Christian and Indiana Tech will be facing off against each other for the first time in the two program's respective histories.
