  • Team Notes:
    • Oklahoma Panhandle State enters the series with MACU on a tough stretch as the Aggies have lost 10 of their last 11 games with their lone win coming in a 4-2 victory at Oklahoma City on Mar. 25.
    • The Aggies have struggled from the dish, hitting the second-worst batting average in the SAC at .254 while also posting the second-worst on-base percentage (.367) and second-worst slugging percentage (.381). Equally, OPSU has struggled mightily from the mound, notching the second-worst team ERA (10.88) in the league while the defense has not helped with the second-worst fielding percentage (.931).
    • Despite OPSU's offensive struggles, junior infielders Jeremy Dbartolomelo and Ryota Kusumoto have been productive in the lineup with each batting .359 and combining for 12 doubles, four triples, four homers, 39 RBIs and 45 runs while each player is getting on-base north of .450.
    • No one in the Aggies starting pitching staff has been able to post a sub-8.00 ERA coming into the weekend as OPSU's pitching thus far has been led by junior righty Braden LeJarraga, who has the lowest starter ERA on the team at 8.01.
    • Even though OPSU still leads the all-time series, Mid-America Christian has dominated the last few season as the Evangels are currently on a five-game win streak. Even though the two teams have faced each other 13 times since 2018, Friday's game will mark the first time the two teams have faced each other at the MACU Baseball Field. Last season's regular season series was played at Tuttle High School due to renovations taking place at the MACU Baseball Field while the Evangels slugged their way to a 25-14 win over the Aggies in the SAC Tournament played at OCU on May 7.
