    • The Eagles enter the game ranked 26th in the NAIA in team batting average (.329) with the 17th-best on-base percentage (.439) and 24th-best slugging percentage (.541). However, OKWU ranks just fourth in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference in team ERA at 6.31.

Josh Logan also brings a big bat to the lineup. Behind his .346 batting average, Logan is slugging 11 doubles, a triple and 12 homers for 45 RBIs and has scored 33 runs.
    • The Eagles ace this season has been junior righty Evan Foor, who owns a 6-1 record in his nine starts, allowing a 3.25 ERA on a .213 opponent batting average over 55.1 innings of work. The Eagles also feature a pair of strong bullpen pieces in Tyler Benefiel and Ashton Luera, who have combined to allow just six earned runs over a combined 27 innings of relief.
    • The Evangels and Eagles are reviving an old rivalry for the first time since 2018. The last time the two teams faced each other on Apr. 24, 2018, MACU pushed across a pair of runs in the top of the ninth before coming away with the 3-1 victory in Barlesville. In the win, Josh Stevenson got the win after throwing three scoreless innings of relief while Felix Martinez led the MACU bats, swatting 2-for-3 with a double and a homer for an RBI and two runs.
