    • The four game win streak was much needed for TXWES, as it followed a five-game skid in which the Rams were outscored 50-15 in a pair of loses to LSU-Shreveport and getting swept by Wayland Baptist.
    • The Rams turned it around, allowing just 10 runs over the last four contests while putting up 39 runs of their own. TXWES is led by Jorge Carvajal on the mound, he has had great success in the hybrid role, he has logged three complete games and five saves this season with a 2.93 ERA and a 4-2 record.
    • Offensively TXWES offers the dynamic duo of Brendon Vela and Rody Garcia, the duo both tops 20 extra-base hits on the season, with Vela slashing .444 which leads the SAC. Vela and Garcia are number one and two in the RBI column for the Rams, with Garica leading with 42 behind a .388 average and nine homers.
