  • Mid-America Christian returned from a four-game weekend trip in Sterlington, La. competing in the Cajun Collision. The Evangels lost a pair of games on Friday including a heart-breaking loss in game two to No. 1 LSU Shreveport giving up four in the last. However, MACU rallied back on Saturday with a pair of wins over No. 12 Missouri Baptist and Central Baptist.
  • Jayce Moore started on the mound in the Evangels' win over Missouri Baptist where he pitched five innings giving up just two hits and one run with four strikeouts.
  • Sammy Hallada has had the bat rolling to start the season tallying 11 hits off a .524 average. Hallada scored eight runs and stole three bases. Nick Hill leads the Evangels with eight RBIs and slugging a .700 clip.
  • Mid-America Christian remains in the top 25 in the NAIA Preseason Poll receiving 151 votes ranking the Evangels 19^th.

  • Sterling competed down in Fort Worth, Texas this past weekend, losing a pair of games to Texas Wesleyan on Friday. However, the Warriors bounced back by splitting a series with William Woods on Saturday.
  • Nehemiah House leads the way inside the batters' box for the Warriors with a .444 batting average with six runs and seven RBIs. House recorded two runs and four RBIs in the win against William Woods on Saturday.
  • Jackson Califono started on the mound for Sterling in three games including in the Saturday win against William Woods. Califono pitched four innings and struck out six batters but conceded four earned runs.
  • MACU and Sterling are tied 3-3 all-time against each other. However, the Evangels got the better of the Warriors in their last match in a 9-6 game on March 17, 2025, in Sterling, Kan.
