OKLAHOMA CITY – The MACU Baseball team is set to host its Fifth Annual Alumni Weekend as the Evangels take on College of the Ozarks in a three-game Sooner Athletic Conference series on Friday and Saturday at the MACU Baseball Field.

The Evangels open the slate with a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. on Friday before closing it out with the nine-inning contest slated for a 12:30 p.m. first pitch on Saturday.

Mid-America Christian is anticipating welcoming back more than 50 former players and coaches for a fun-filled weekend of events and activities.

Starting at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, the Evangels will be holding a pregame ceremony to welcome back its alumni as well as hold a ceremonial first pitch with MACU's first ever Head Baseball Coach, Cecil Bays, who became the program's skipper for the 1968 campaign.
