  • In the bottom of the fourth, the Stars took the lead when the first two batters reached on a single and an error before Analise Rayburn's sharply hit groundball toward the left side was deflected into center field, allowing one run to score before Saina Willis threw out Tara Hoehner trying to get to third and ended the inning on a pop out double play.
  • The Evangels had a chance to tie the game up in the top of the sixth when Taylor Martinez hit a leadoff single to center and stole second with one out. However, MACU once again came up empty on a lineout to second and a flyout to left.
