Oklahoma City, OK -- The Oklahoma City Stars defeated the Mid-America Christian Lady Evangels 3-0 in Sooner Athletic Conference action Tuesday night (Sept. 21) in Oklahoma City. The Stars won by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-18.
The Lady Evangels held leads of 20-18 and 22-20 in the first game before the Stars rallied with five straight points to take the opening game.
OCU then took the next two games to close out the victory.
With the loss, the Lady Evangels fell to 7-9 on the season and 0-2 in the SAC, while the Stars are now 9-4 and 2-0 in the conference.
MACU will continue conference play by hosting Southern Nazarene on Thursday night (Sept. 23) at 7 p.m. at the Gaulke Activity Center.
