OKLAHOMA CITY – In closing out the 2025-26 Sooner Athletic Conference academic awards, MACU Athletics placed 77 on the Scholar-Athlete list unveiled on Friday.

To earn SAC Scholar-Athlete honors, a student-athlete must be at least a junior by academic standing, completed at least two years at the nominating institution or one year for transfers, and also maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while competing in an NAIA-recognized sport.

The MACU Baseball team notched the most student-athletes amongst the institution's programs with 19 collecting SAC Scholar-Athlete acclaim while the MACU Women's Soccer team posted the most amongst the women's programs with 18 earning honors.
