OKLAHOMA CITY -- Larissa Runyan has signed with Mid-America Christian University to play Volleyball and Women's Basketball for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

Runyan played at Destiny Christian School and will begin action with the Lady Evangels volleyball squad in the fall before transitioning to the MACU Women's Basketball squad in the winter.

"Larissa is one of those players that really makes a coach feel good," MACU head volleyball coach Craig Ruiz said. "She is positive and works hard at whatever you ask her to do and is a strong spiritual leader who is always striving to please the Lord! She is also one of the best kids you'll ever meet and an even better student, so we are really blessed to have her at MACU!"

"We are excited to see Larissa join the university and our programs," MACU women's basketball head coach Roman Owen said.
