Shawnee, Okla. -- The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels stormed back from two sets down to even the match 2-2, but the St. Gregory's University Cavaliers pulled together and took the final set to defeat MACU 3-2 in the season finale today (Nov. 8) in Shawnee, Okla.
The Cavaliers cruised to the first win 25-13 and then grabbed a commanding lead with a 25-22 win in the second set.
MACU answered with victories of 25-16 and 25-19 in the third and fourth set to force a decisive fifth set.
