OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University athletics is excited to partner with the Earlywine YMCA of Oklahoma City to announce the upcoming "YMCA Days" on Oct. 1 and Oct. 3.

"The partnership that our athletic department has with the Earlywine YMCA has truly been a blessing to our staff and our student athletes," said MACU Athletic Director Marcus Moeller.

"We've loved working with the kids that participate in their leagues and are ecstatic to host their league participants and families for these games!"

On Oct. 1, it'll be a Sooner Athletic Conference doubleheader as the MACU women's and men's soccer teams will face Oklahoma City University starting at 2 p.m. at Evangel Field.

Then two days later on Oct. 3, the Volleyball Lady Evangels will host Randall University (formerly Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College) at 7 p.m. inside the Gaulke Activity Center.

"We will do a serve contest and have some giveaways for our Oct.3 volleyball match," said MACU volleyball head coach Mike Freeman.

"Come and watch the MACU players you had at your summer camp as we play Randall University at 7 pm. Wear your YMCA volleyball shirt and show your support for MACU."

All YMCA youth participants that wear their YMCA All Sports T-Shirt or their Challenger Soccer jersey will receive free admission on these dates.

"The Athletic Department at Mid-America Christian University has built a strong relationship with our YMCA sports participants," said Earlywine YMCA Sports Director Orlando Williams.

"The interaction with MACU student athletes will leave a lasting impression on Earlywine YCMA youth participants."
