OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian men's and women's soccer programs were well represented on the 2021-22 Sooner Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete honors presented by Barnes & Noble College on Monday as the two programs combined to place 28 student-athletes on the esteemed list.

In order to earn SAC Scholar-Athlete accolades, a student-athlete must maintain no lower than a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average, be a junior or higher by academic standing, attended the nominating institution for at least two years as a non-transfer or one year as a transfer and appear on the program's NAIA eligibility certificate.

Overall, the MACU women's soccer team led all nine SAC soccer programs with 15 honorees while four of those athletes made up the 11 players in the league to possess a 4.0 GPA. The MACU men's team also shined academically, placing the second-most overall scholar-athletes with 13 while also possessing four of the eight spots with 4.0 GPAs.
