GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced its 2025 Baseball All-Americans and for the first time in program history, Mid-America Christian notched its first three-time recipient of the honor as senior outfielder Noel McGarry-Doyle was selected to the Third Team.
It is the third time in his illustrious Evangels career that McGarry-Doyle is receiving the Third Team All-American accolade.
The Maple, Ontario, Canada native wrapped up this incredible season on a tear from the plate to finish the year with a .404 batting average (78-193) with nine doubles, a triple and 14 homers for 72 RBIs and 56 runs. McGarry-Doyle also drew a team-high 41 walks, 16 hit-by pitches and stole 28 bases to finish with a team-high .538 on-base percentage, a .679 slugging percentage and the second-highest OPS at 1.217.
McGarry-Doyle set several NAIA Era (2008-present) single season marks for the year. On-top of setting the record for on-base percentage (.538) and RBIs (72), he also notched top 10 marks in hits (72, 2nd), walks (41, 2nd), home runs (14, 3rd), total bases (131, 3rd), stolen bases (28, 3rd), OPS (1.217, 5th), at-bats (193, 6th), batting average (.404, 7th), and runs (56, 8th).
The highly skilled outfielder saved some of his best performances of the season for last in the NAIA Tournament Opening Round. During that five-game slate, McGarry-Doyle slashed 11-for-23 (.478) with a triple, six homers with 18 RBIs and nine runs. He also came up with the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to propel the Evangels to a 7-6 comeback win over Ottawa on May 13.
One of the most decorated players in program history, McGarry-Doyle wrapped up his illustrious three-year Evangels career with seven program records, including: on-base percentage (.510), triples (10), RBIs (190), runs (169), walks (95), hit-by-pitch (42), and stolen bases (54).
Not only did he set seven different career records, but he also set several other NAIA Era top 10 marks, which include: batting average (.394, 2nd), OPS (1.190, 2nd), hits (214, 2nd), home runs (34, 2nd), total bases (369, 2nd), at-bats (543, 3rd), slugging percentage (.680, 4th), and doubles (33, 4th).
The Evangels wrapped up another highly successful 2025 campaign with a 41-17 overall record and made its deepest ever run in the NAIA Tournament by advancing to the NAIA Tournament Opening Round Championship after getting a 16-7 win over Southern-New Orleans, a 7-6 victory over Ottawa (Kan.) and a 16-4 win over No. 21 Johnson (Tenn.).
