OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University continues to see unprecedented success both athletically and academically as the Evangels finished with 140 student-athlete standouts on the Sooner Athletic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll announced on Tuesday.
To be named to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be actively competing on an NAIA-recognized sport at the nominating institution and carry a 3.0 grade-point average for the 2024-25 academic year.
The 140 recipients of the accolade is the second-most the Evangels have ever placed on the esteemed list since joining the conference and NAIA in 2007.
The MACU Women's Soccer team boasted the most honorees with 27 making it to the SAC Commissioner's Honor Roll while the MACU Men's Soccer and MACU Baseball programs finishing right behind with 26 apiece.
The MACU Volleyball team boasted the highest percentage of student-athletes making this list as 13 of its 16 members (81.2 percent) finished with a 3.0 or better in 2024-25.
