Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Fresh off their best regular season ever since joining the NAIA, the No. 8-ranked (NCCAA) and 15-2-1 Mid-America Christian Lady Evangels are set to host the quarterfinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference postseason tournament on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 6) at 2 p.m.
The Lady Evangels enter the eight-team tournament as the third seed and will face sixth-seeded Oklahoma Baptist.
MACU and OBU played to a 0-0 scoreless tie last Saturday (Oct. 30) in Shawnee, Okla.
With a win on Saturday, the Lady Evangels would face the winner between second-seeded John Brown and the seventh seed USAO on Monday (Nov. 8).
A John Brown win would mean MACU would play at JBU, while the Lady Evangels would host USAO.
The SAC championship is set for Friday (Nov. 12) on the campus of the highest remaining seed.
