OKLAHOMA CITY -- Chelsea Swisher recorded her second hat trick of the season to lead the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels to a 6-0 rout of the Southwestern Christian University Lady Eagles in Sooner Athletic Conference action at Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City.  The match was played at PCWS due to poor field conditions at SCU.

Swisher wasted no time in getting on the board, scoring her first goal just 19 seconds into the match.

A goal by Kayla Baldwin was sandwiched around Swisher's second goal just 1:45 into the second half for a commanding 3-0 lead.

Swisher added her fourth goal at the 52:11 mark and Ciara Mitchell and Alex Macias finished off the scoring for the Lady Evangels.

The Lady Evangels held a 21-12 edge in shots overall and a 15-7 advantage in shots-on-goal.

Kenady Maynard made two saves in the first half and Kaitlyn Whitten stopped five shots in the second for MACU.

With her three scores, Swisher stepped into the lead in the Sooner Athletic Conference with 16 goals on the season.

The Lady Evangels will next host USAO on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 18) at 1 p.m. at MACU Soccer Field.
