OKLAHOMA CITY -- Chelsea Swisher recorded a hat trick with a career-high three goals to power the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels to a 6-2 victory over the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars Saturday afternoon (Sept. 7) at MACU Soccer Field.

Swisher had plenty of help, as Brianna Jezioro tallied a career-best two goals and two assists.

Jezioro gave the Lady Evangels an early lead by heading in a corner kick from Michelle Medina at the 7:50 mark.

After Briana Holmes evened the score for the Jaguars, Jezioro assisted on a goal by Ciara Mitchell in the 21st minute.

Jezioro then delivered a helper on Swisher's first goal five minutes into the second half and tallied her second goal just five minutes later.

It was 4-2 when Swisher put it away with two more scores in the 68th and 77th minute.

The Lady Evangels (1-1) out-shot the Jaguars (2-3) 16-9 overall and by a whopping 12-3 on-goal.

MACU will next play at Ecclesia College on Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 10) at 2 p.m. in Springdale, Ark.
