OKLAHOMA CITY -- Senior Chelsea Swisher and juniors Cici Mitchell and Alex Macias have earned All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors, the league released today (Nov. 11).  Swisher and Mitchell were first-team selections, while Macias was a second-team pick.

It's the second straight first-team nod for Swisher, who scored a team-high 17 goals along with three assists.  Last season, Swisher set a single-season record for points with 52 (19 goals, 14 assists).

Mitchell, a second-team performer last season, has dished out a team-high nine assists and is second on the team with 12 goals.

Macias has been a solid defender for the Lady Evangels this year, playing a key role on a unit that has posted eight shutouts on the season.

The trio has helped the Lady Evangels to 12 wins this season, marking the third time in the last four years MACU has reached double-digit victories.

The Lady Evangels are currently gearing up for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Central Regional Tournament, which is slated for next week (Nov. 20-22).
