KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mid-America Christian University junior defender Jordan Stanbrough has been named a first-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/NCCAA All-America performer, the organization has announced.
Also making the team as an honorable-mention selection was senior midfielder Taylor Moseley.
Stanbrough was a key cog in a well-oiled Lady Evangel defensive unit that posted six shutouts and recorded separate scoreless streaks of 329 and 191 minutes this season.
A Yukon, Okla. native, Stanbrough was also recently selected as the Sooner Athletic Conference Co-Newcomer of the Year and a first-team all-conference pick.
Moseley (Mustang, Okla.) scored one goal and dished out one assist this season while earning a second-team all-conference nod.
The Lady Evangels, under co-head coaches Zach Bice and Evan Dresel, finished the 2016 campaign 7-9-1 and sixth in the SAC with a 4-5 conference mark.
