OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian University women's soccer squad has added Casey Riley for the 2017 season.

Riley, a 5-6 defender out of nearby Moore, Okla., was an all-state performer competing at Southmoore High School.

She was also selected as the Defensive Player of the Year along with being named team MVP at Southmoore.

"We're really excited about having Casey join our program," MACU Women's Soccer Co-Head Coach Zach Bice said.

"She will make an immediate impact on the team and our program.  We are looking forward to great things out of her.  She was a captain and leader for her high school team."

The daughter of Katherine Pierce and Eric Riley, she is joining a program that was 7-9-1 last season after winning consecutive NCCAA Central Regional championships in 2014 & 2015.
