OKLAHOMA CITY - The Sooner Athletic Conference has announced its annual women's soccer awards, and the Mid-America Christian University team had one player recognized by the conference.

Brittney Stephens capped her 4-year MACU career by earning a spot on the All-SAC Second Team in a year that saw her move past several career milestones and into the top-five of MACU's career scoring list.

Stephens, a 5-9 senior forward from Moore, Oklahoma, scored eight goals and added a pair of assists for an 18 point campaign to earn the all-conference recognition. She surpassed the 40 career goal mark in the Evangels' 4-1 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God University on October 16th, and when the season ended, she had 43 goals, which is good enough for fourth on the MACU career scoring list. She also scored two game winning goals, improving her career total to 14 such tallies, which is a MACU record.
