- Central Christian's biggest threat came in the second when the Tigers loaded the bases on an error, a hit-by-pitch and a walk, but Rachel Eggleston got out of the jam by striking out Abby Schleisman to end the inning.
- The Evangels gained some breathing room in the fourth and fifth innings when Brooklyn Wilson bashed a single to left that plated both Emylee Campbell and Rachel Humburg on an error before Larman drove in her second RBI with a single to right to swell the advantage to 4-0.
- MACU pushed across three more runs in the top of the seventh as Larman drove in her third and fourth RBIs of the game with a single to left-center.
