- Team Notes:
- Mid-America Christian is coming off one of its biggest wins in program history last Tuesday as the Evangels defeated SAC leader No. 19 John Brown 2-0 at the Dill Soccer Field. In the win, Brae Baker netted the game-winner in the 57th minute off the long ball assist from her sister Brae Baker while Deborah Silveira added an insurance goal in the 67th minute by deflecting a clearance by JBU's goalkeeper.
- As a result of their efforts, the Baker sisters were selected as the Sooner Athletic Conference Players of the Week with Brae earning the offensive honor while Asley collected the defensive accolade. Asley was also tabbed as the NCCAA Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week with her efforts.
- The significance of Tuesday's victory snapped multiple streaks on both sides. The win for the Evangels was their first victory over John Brown since picking up the program's first ever win against the Golden Eagles by a 2-0 result at the Dill Soccer Field on Oct. 19, 2011.
- For John Brown, the result marked just the second time the Golden Eagles have lost a SAC contest since 2019 and is only the second time since 2018 that JBU has been shut out in a league match. The only other shutout that the Golden Eagles experienced came from the Evangels last season when MACU played John Brown to a 0-0 draw at Alumni Field in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Oct. 21.
- Entering Tuesday night's contest, the Sooner Athletic Conference appears to be completely up-for-grabs as Oklahoma City currently sits at the top of the league table with 10 points (3-0-1). Mid-America Christian currently sits in a four-way tie for second along with John Brown, Science & Arts and Nelson with nine points with all four teams holding a 3-1 league record.

- Team Notes:
- After giving up the go-ahead goal in the 31st minute against Wayland Baptist last Tuesday, Oklahoma City rallied back by scoring three unanswered goals, including two just before the halftime break to come away with the 3-1 victory over the Pioneers at Brian Harvey Field.
- The Stars are one of three teams in the SAC that have scored 90 or more points and are allowing less than a goal per game as OCU has tallied the fourth-most points (90) offensively in the conference while ranking second in the league in goals allowed average (0.90), sitting behind only MACU (0.67) in the defensive efficiency.
- OCU features a balanced offensive attack that is spearheaded by senior forward Hallie Crom, who ranks tied for fourth in the SAC in goal scoring with eight goals with the fifth-most points (17). Oklahoma City also has a pair of players that are tied for the SAC lead in assists with Abby Russell and Saizlee Carlton notching six apiece. Overall, the Stars have been balanced offensively as at least five players have notched 10 or more points this season.
- In-net, it has been sophomore keeper Gemma Harvey that has been stellar at holding down the fort as she ranks fourth in the conference in goals allowed average at 0.91 while finishing with three shutouts this season.
- Even though Oklahoma City holds the lead in the all-time series, Mid-America Christian has fared well against the Stars as of late as MACU own a 5-0-1 record against OCU since the 2019 season. In their meeting at Brian Harvey Field last season on Oct. 27, the Evangels grounded out a hard-fought 1-0 victory when Deborah Silveira netted the game-winner in the 76th minute off the assist from Mia Willyerd.
