Tyler Hoxie, Enzo Nogue to Join MACU Sports Information Staff

OKLAHOMA CITY – The MACU Athletics department is proud to welcome Tyler Hoxie and Enzo Nogue to its sports information staff for the upcoming 2025-26 athletic year. Hoxie will serve as the Assistant Sports Information Director and Nogue will be the Sports Information/Video Coordinator Graduate Assistant.

Both Hoxie and Nogue bring a level of familiarity to the table with MACU Athletics as Hoxie competed for the men's soccer and men's golf teams for fellow Sooner Athletic Conference institution Central Christian College of Kansas for the last five years.

Meanwhile, Nogue competed for the illustrious MACU Men's Soccer program for the last two years, including serving as the Team Captain during the 2024 campaign as well as competed for the MACU Esports League of Legends team during the 2024-25 seasons.

Hoxie and Nogue will be replacing Reese Cusiter and Annika Gerdau, who will be leaving their positions at the end of May.

"I am absolutely thrilled that Tyler (Hoxie) and Enzo (Nogue) are joining my staff for the upcoming year," stated MACU Sports Information Director Adam Stanek. "Tyler brings a wellspring of knowledge and experience when it comes to working in athletic communications at the NAIA level and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow professionally in the assistant role. Enzo is honestly one of the most driven and passionate people I've ever met and with his experience in graphic design as well as deep understanding of the culture we have here at MACU, I honestly believe Tyler and Enzo are the perfect fit for our office. I'd like to welcome them both to the MACU Family!"

Over the last five years, Hoxie had played an instrumental role in the sports information operations at Central Christian. As a student-worker within the department, Hoxie was tasked with broadcasting, stating and handling livestreaming operations with the Tigers.

"I am excited to step into this role and be a part of this great MACU community," said Hoxie. "My passion for sports has allowed me to be in a position to help others live out their athletic aspirations. I am thankful for the opportunity and cannot wait to continue to grow the MACU Athletics brand."

"Tyler had the opportunity to learn under Jeremy Nelson, who was a sensational SID at Central Christian," Stanek added. "Having the chance to work side-by-side with Tyler Swanson over the last year, the two of them have been able to continue to elevate CCCK's Sports Information operations. It is incredibly rare to find someone with the level of experience Tyler has at his age and I truly believe he can bring even more to the table here at MACU."

Stepping into the GA role, Nogue is the fourth former MACU student-athlete to serve as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant and brings in some strong experience in graphic design and writing for former clubs and producing graphics for the MACU Men's Soccer Instagram page as well as a deep familiarity of being a multi-sport student-athlete at MACU. Nogue also volunteered over the course of the past year within MACU's Sports Information department, gathering valuable knowledge and experience when it comes to athletic communications.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Sports Information Department as the Graduate Assistant," stated Nogue. "I am excited to step into this role and contribute to the continued success of our athletic programs. I look forward to learning, growing, and representing MACU with pride."

"Enzo brings the unique flair of being a part of two different MACU Athletics programs in men's soccer and esports," said Stanek. "He is someone who I think completely embraces the culture we have here at MACU and I firmly trust in his abilities and background as he moves into our GA role. With Enzo handling a lot of our livestream operations and graphic design work, I believe he can elevate our department to even greater heights."

Hoxie and Nogue will officially begin their roles within the department in July.
