The Mid-America Christian Lady Evangels have been projected to finish 10th in the Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Preseason Poll, the league office announced.
Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma City have been tabbed as co-favorites to win the league.
LCU and OCU were the top two finishing schools in the SAC last year, with LCU taking the regular-season title by percentage points.
Coming in third is Southern Nazarene, followed by St. Gregory's, Rogers State, Oklahoma Christian and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma Baptist, USAO and MACU wound down the 10-team poll.
The poll was voted on by coaches, with each coach not allowed to vote for their own team.
The Lady Evangels begin the 2011 campaign on Feb. 15 with a doubleheader at Oklahoma Wesleyan.
