Oklahoma City, Okla. -- The Mid-America Christian softball program has announced yet another early signee for 2013, this time adding local Putnam City North (PCN) HS product Kaylin Hinshaw.
Hinshaw was a two-time All-Metro selection and earned All-Region honors as a senior.
She received the 2009 PCN Fighting Heart award and was then the recipient of the PCN best pitcher award consecutive seasons.
A solid student-athlete, Hinshaw helped PCN achieve the Oklahoma All-Academic championship the last three years while also serving as coach for the PCN Special Olympics softball team.
"We are so excited to have an athlete like Kaylin, head coach Robert Wakefield said. "Her work ethic on and off the field will help her excel in our program. We are looking for big things from Kaylin in the future."
