Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Mid-America Christian University softball head coach Robert Wakefield has announced the signing of Piedmont, Okla. native Morgan Ratliff as another early addition for the 2013 campaign.

Ratliff was a two-time All-Regional performer for the Piedmont HS Wildcats and earned Honorable-Mention All-State honors in 2011. She was also a Suburban All-Conference selection in 2010.

She helped the Wildcats advance to the state playoffs three straight seasons, with four district championships and three regional titles.

Ratliff is the daughter of Darin and Rhonda Ratliff and plans to major in psychology at MACU.

"Morgan is hard working young lady," Wakefield said. "She is going to play second base and be a big part of our team for the next four years. We're glad to have her here at MACU."
