OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels have signed Kenna McCoy to the program for next season, head coach Robert Wakefield has announced.

McCoy, a native of Muskogee, Okla., is expected to play second base for the Lady Evangels.

Prior to coming to MACU, she attended Connors State College in Warner, Okla.  McCoy was a four-time All-Conference performer for the Warner HS Cowgirls and was also named the Army All-Star Female of the Year.

"Kenna is a good, solid player coming to us from Connors Junior College," Wakefield said. "She will help us on the infield because we feel like she can play all of them. With her experience at the junior college level, Kenna brings many positive factors to this year's team."

McCoy is the daughter of Kenny and Stella McCoy and plan to major in Education at MACU.
