OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mid-America Christian University softball  head coach Robert Wakefield has announced the signing of Tori Winters to the program for next season.

Winters is a versatile player that is expected to help the Lady Evangels all over the field.

She played at Coffeyville Community College before coming to MACU and is a solid student-athlete, earning a spot in the National Honor Society while at Glenpool (Okla.) HS.

"Tori is a young lady that is going to give us some experience in the outfield and on the infield," Wakefield said. "Coming from Coffeyville Junior College she has played at a high level of softball. She will fit in on this team and help us with team leadership. We expect big things from Tori."

She is the daughter of Doug and Jamie Winters and anticipates majoring in Behavior Sciences at MACU.
