OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mid-America Christian University head coach
Robert Wakefield has announced that the Lady Evangels have added OKC native Tiffany Holt for the 2013 season.
Holt, a product of Putnam City HS, earned first-team All-MAC conference honors last season following a second-team all-conference selection as a sophomore in 2008.
She was given the team's "Pirate Pride" award her junior season in which she went 9-3 on the mound and hit.475 at the plate.
Holt has twice received the District Player of the Month by the Bethany Tribune and was named the Conference Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.
She has also played three years with the Oklahoma Ultimate 18U traveling team, hitting .490 with a 7-0 record and four saves on the mound.
"Tiffany will be a big asset to this recruiting class," Wakefield said. "She will compete for the shortstop position and her quickness is her biggest asset. We are looking for a lot out of her and our MACU softball program will be better because of players like Tiffany."
She is the daughter of John and Kristen Holt.
