OKLAHOMA CITY – The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels softball program have added another early signing in Oklahoma City native Breanna Branch for the 2014 season.

Branch, a 5-7 product of Putnam City High School, is expected to compete for time at third base and in the outfield for the Lady Evangels.

She was a first-team All-Region selection for the Pirates and also earned All-District Honorable-Mention honors.

A solid student-athlete, Branch was on the Honor Roll and was a member of the National Honor Society.

"We are excited about signing Breanna and becoming part of the 2013 signees, MACU Softball Head Coach Robert Wakefield said.  "Her athletic ability will make her very versatile and allow her to play more than one position on the field.  Breanna will fit right in with what we are trying to accomplish here at MACU.

She is the daughter of Norman and Michelle Branch.
