OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mid-America Christian University softball head coach Robert Wakefield has announced the signing of outfielder Allison Smith for the 2015 season.

Smith, a native of Lindsay, Okla., started four years for the Lindsay High School Leopards and was an All-Conference performer and All-Star selection.

She also helped the Leopards capture the District Championship all four seasons that included a pair of regional semifinal appearances.

A solid student-athlete, Smith ranked in the Top 15 of her graduating class.

"Allison is a great addition to our team for next year," Wakefield said.  "She has great speed and will help us in the outfield and will also help out our athleticism on the team."

She is the daughter of James C. Smith and Sonya McCann and plans to major in Business at MACU.
