OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Softball team has added outfielder Mariah Treat into the fold for the upcoming 2015 season.
Treat, a native of Cushing, Okla., was an all-region performer at Cushing High School and was also named the team's Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and the squad's Defensive Player of the Year for her junior season.
"Mariah is a good athlete with a lot of talent," head softball coach Robert Wakefield said.
"She will add depth to our outfield for next year as she can run and go get the ball in the outfield. We are so glad to have Mariah in our family here at MACU."
She is the daughter of Chris and Jennifer Ingraham and plans to major in Teaching at MACU.
Treat is joining a program that enjoyed a breakout 2014 season by winning a single-season best 34 games along with the program's first appearance in the Sooner Athletic Conference title game.
