OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma Christian University Lady Eagles scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth to snap a 2-2 tie and went on to a 3-2 win over the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels in the second game of a doubleheader today (Feb. 10) on the OC campus in Oklahoma City.  The Lady Eagles blanked the Lady Evangels 8-0 in the opener.

These games are exhibitions for the Lady Evangels and MACU will officially open the 2015 season at home Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. against Bacone College.

The Lady Eagles jumped on top in the nightcap with two runs in the first inning, but solo homers from Cassidy Hart and Tymber Howard in the fifth and sixth innings tied the score before the Lady Eagles plated an unearned tally in the bottom of the sixth to win it.

MACU starter Kelcie Wolf allowed only one earned run in her three innings of work and Jackie Hilterbran followed her with two scoreless innings of relief.

The Lady Evangels were held hitless in the opener by Shea Coats, who walked only one over six innings.

Coats then came in the second game and tossed a pair of scoreless frames to pick up her second win of the day.
