OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels rebounded from a tough loss earlier today (Apr. 30) by defeating the Southwestern Assemblies of God University Lady Lions 3-0 in their second game at the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament at Ann Lacy Stadium on the campus of Oklahoma City University.

It was a scoreless game until Hannah Lynch unloaded a three-run homer that scored Kenna McCoy and Taryn Callender in the bottom of the fourth.

That was more than enough for Kelcie Wolf, who struck out four, walked none and allowed only two hits in her complete game shutout performance.

The Lady Evangels (24-18) also got a perfect 3-of-3 effort from McCoy at the plate.

MACU will next face the top-ranked OCU Stars in the SAC tourney tomorrow afternoon (May 1) at 1:30 p.m.
