OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mid-America Christian University softball head coach Robert Wakefield has announced the early signing of Corrie Moore for the 2017 season.
Moore, a native of Marlow, Okla., was a four-year starter at third base for the Marlow High School Outlaws and helped the squad to consecutive state semi-final appearances in the 2013 & 2014 seasons.
A solid student-athlete, Moore maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average at Marlow.
"Corrie is a young lady that has a great attitude for the game," Wakefield said.
"She will work harder than anyone on the field and is a great student with high ambitions for the future. Corrie will be a big asset for this team with her attitude and work habits. We are so glad to have Corrie in our MACU Softball family."
Moore is joining a program that is coming off consecutive winning seasons for the first time since joining the NAIA in 2008.
The daughter of Neal and Valeria Moore, Corrie is planning a career in the medical field.
