- Team Notes:
- Mid-America Christian closed out its home slate of the regular season with a four-game sweep over Langston, taking the series by scores of 3-0, 11-5, 10-2 and 11-3. As a result of the sweep, the Evangels finish the year with an astounding 17-1 record at Allen Field, which included winning the last 17 after losing the home-opener 2-1 against Southwestern Assemblies of God on Feb. 23. It is by far and away MACU's best winning percentage (.944) on its home turf in program history, beating out the NCCAA National Championship 2021 season when MACU went 19-5 (.792) at home.
- With the accumulation of last week's SAC results, the top three seeds in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament have already been decided as the Evangels locked up the No. 3 seed and will play in the Chickasha side of the bracket in the league tourney. No. 2 Oklahoma City will own the top seed after securing the SAC regular season title while No. 6 Science & Arts secured the second seed.
- A big part of MACU's success in 2024 has been an improved hitting ability from the plate as the Evangels enter this weekend with a .306 team batting average, which is MACU's highest batting average in a full season since the Evangels slashed .313 from the plate during the 2018 campaign. The Evangels are also currently hitting a .421 slugging percentage, which is the highest clip since 2015.
- While MACU has put up great hitting numbers this season, it has come from a well-balanced lineup that features eight regular starters hitting above .300 with seven players hitting for an above .400 slugging percentage. Kisbel Vizcaya has been the most consistent bat for MACU at the top of the Evangels' lineup, hitting for a .375 average while Karlee Danielson has been the hottest bat through the second half of the season as the junior outfielder is slugging for a team-best .594 slugging percentage.

- Team Notes:
- Central Christian is coming off getting swept at No. 6 Science & Arts last weekend, being shut out in the first three games 8-0, 7-0 and 7-0 before putting up a hard-fought battle in the finale before losing on a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to fall 2-1.
- The Tigers are a team that has struggled with the bats during the 2024 season as CCCK ranks last in the conference in batting average (.257) as well as slugging percentage (.327), however, Central Christian has been able to get some runners on via a free pass by ranking sixth in the conference in on-base percentage (.329).
- Entering the weekend, CCCK ranks eighth in the SAC in team ERA (5.50) and second-to-last in WHIP (1.92) while defensively ranking in the middle of the pack at sixth in team fielding percentage (.941).
- Senior catcher Destiny Holt has been the biggest bat in the Tigers lineup this season, posting a team-best .351 batting average with eight doubles, a pair of triples and the only homer for the Tigers this season for a team-high 26 RBIs as well as tied for team-best 26 runs scored. Sophomore infielder Camryn Frick is the only other regular starter batting north of .300, slashing .325 while leading the team in runs (26) and stolen bases (20).
- The Tigers are a rare team that throws a four-pitcher rotation of Kayla Voss, Madalyn Griffin, Chelsie Hirtler and Sara Lynch. Voss has been the most effective of CCCK's pitchers this season, posting a 5-5 record with a 3.92 ERA. Griffin has shown pretty good command in the circle for the Tigers as she's notched a 4.60 ERA and has struck out a team-high 41 batters and only issued 18 walks over 70 innings of work.
- Since the start of MACU's tenure in the NAIA in 2008, the Evangels have had a ton of success against the Tigers, going 38-2 in that time frame. However, Mid-America Christian will be looking to bounce back after suffering just their fifth loss in program history to Central Christian in their last meeting on Apr. 15, 2023. After the Evangels won the first three games in the series 7-0, 3-0 and 10-2, CCCK jumped out to a 6-0 lead through the first two innings before hanging on for the 6-4 win.
