SEASON REPORT
  • Record: 7-3-2 (2-1-2 SAC)
  • Last Match: Lost at Southwestern Christian – 2-0 – Oct. 11, 2025 – Bethany, Okla.
  • Stat Leaders:
  • Team Notes:
    • Despite Mid-America Christian dropping its first SAC game of the year, the Evangels managed to out-shoot Southwestern Christian by a 24-15 margin, but MACU struggled to find the target on most of its shots as the Evangels held just a 7-6 edge in shots on-goal.
    • The match marked the first MACU posted an under 30-percent shot on-goal percentage at .292. When the Evangels have been able to put 40-percent or more of its shots on-goal, the Evangels own a 7-1-2 overall record and are just 0-1-2 in matches where they place less than 40-percent of their shots on-frame.
    • The Evangels will be looking to clean up some of its defensive play in the box as MACU has allowed a penalty kick in each of the last two games, both of which eventually resulted in a goal for Nelson and SCU.
    • Last week's result was somewhat of an anomaly for the Evangels during the 2025 season as it was MACU's first road loss of the season. Mid-America Christian enters this weekend's contest with a 5-1-1 record on the road while owning a 2-2-1 record at home this season.

    • CCCK has been challenged on both ends of the field this season as the Tigers rank second-to-last in the SAC in goals scored per game (1.00) while giving up the second-most goals per game (2.36) in the league. • Sophomore defender Kaye Harrison is the only Tigers player to net more than two goals for the Tigers this season with four on the year while also being the only Tigers player to have an above .200 shooting percentage at .222.
    • Fifth-year senior Macy Clements has played the bulk load for the Tigers in-goal this season and despite facing an incredible amount of shots, is posting a solid .799 save percentage for the sixth-best rate in the SAC. Clements also has almost double the saves lead in the Sooner at 111 with SCU's Lorelai Puglisi being second at 56.
    • Mid-America Christian has dominated the recent series against Central Christian by winning the last nine games and 10 of the last 11 matchups since the Tigers became a SAC institution in 2017. The Evangels have been especially dominant in the last three seasons, outscoring the Tigers 13-0 in the last three games. In last year's meeting at the Dill Soccer Field on Oct. 5, CCCK hung with Evangels for 69 minutes before the Evangels finally found the game-winner in the 70th minute off the foot of Alissa Taylor. MACU then went on to score three goals in the final 21 minutes to secure the 3-0 victory. In the result, MACU managed to out-shoot Central by a 34-5 margin and a 15-2 edge in shots on-goal.
