OKLAHOMA CITY – MACU Women's Soccer plays its final Sooner Athletic Conference match of the regular season on Tuesday evening, in need of a point to guarantee a home playoff game in the quarterfinals. The Evangels will face the Rams of Texas Wesleyan for a 5 pm kickoff.

  • Mid-America Christian is coming off a big result on the weekend traveling to Siloam Springs, Ark. and leaving with a point against the number 10 ranked team in the land, John Brown. A first career brace for Caitlin Hirst, and four goals in five games for Hirst, equalized the match twice for the Evangels, as MACU took a point off the conference leaders.
  • MACU sits fourth place in Sooner Athletic Conference standings on 15 points with a 4-1-3 record. The Evangels are five points out of first but hold a three-point cushion over fifth place, in need of just a point to host a quarterfinal match in the first round of the SAC Tournament at the Dill Soccer Field.  
  • Brae Baker leads the Evangels in scoring with nine goals and adding four assists for a team high, 22 points. She leads the SAC with 73 shots, 11 more than second place.
  • Ariana Solorio has been stellar between the posts for the Evangels, with a 5-2-3 record, making 44 saves, on a .800 save percentage. Solorio's save percentage and 1.10 goals against average sits her top five in conference standings.
