  • Team Notes:
    • Mid-America Christian swung some blistering hot bats in its doubleheader sweep over Central Christian in its home-away-from-home doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon at Southeast High School as the Evangels slashed .480 as a team with nine of their 24 hits going for extra bases as MACU outscored the Tigers 23-3 in the twin bill.
    • It was a historic series for senior utility Emylee Campbell as she became just the second player in program history to record two triples in one game, joining Cassidy Hart who accomplished the feat against Crowley's Ridge (Ark.) on Mar. 26, 2016.
    • Brooklyn Wilson also made a little bit of history of her own in the second game as well as the senior outfielder blasted her 39th career double to tie Jackie Hilterbran (2012-15) for second on the program's all-time list as she now only sits two back of tying former teammate Olivia Roberts (2019-22).
    • MACU's ace pitcher Chana Wolfe had a get-right game despite battling through an illness before the game as the junior righty only allowed two hits in 4.1 innings of work as she didn't walk a single batter while striking out six of the 13 batters she retired.

  • Team Notes:
    • Southwestern Christian is coming off a tough four-game series against Science & Arts as the Drovers outscored the Eagles 29-2 as USAO ended it with a pair of 8-0 wins at Bill Smith Ballpark on Monday. SCU is currently in the midst of a challenging part of its schedule as the Eagles have lost eight-straight as the Eagles were swept in four games by No. 5 Oklahoma City on Mar. 28-29.
    • The Eagles have been a strong hitting team this season, slashing .328 with the third-best slugging percentage in the Sooner Athletic Conference at .487, including scoring the third-most runs (225) in the league and third-most stolen bases (88). However, the Eagles have struggled in the circle as SCU ranks third-to-last in the conference with a 4.70 team ERA.
    • Hannah Keele has led the SCU batting efforts from the leadoff spot with a strong .418 batting average while ranking fifth in the SAC in runs scored (43) and second in stolen bases (26). Lexi Cahwee and Trinity Norwood have been the most productive bats in the middle of the order as Cahwee has notched the sixth-most RBIs (37) while Norwood ranks fourth in the conference in home runs (8).
    • A bulk load of the pitching for the Eagles this season has been handled by Jessica Czikra and Lainey King, who have combined for a 17-8 record in the circle.
    • Mid-America Christian came away with a four-game sweep in their series last season at Allen Field as the Evangels tallied a pair of 9-1 and 8-0 victories on Apr. 5 before tallying a 9-7 win on Apr. 6 before wrapping up the series with an Emylee Campbell walk-off single for the 8-7 victory.
